Celebrate the beginning of spring with a new friend – a Grasshead Friend, that is! This kid’s craft doubles as an activity, because once the grass begins to grow, kids will be responsible for watering and styling their friend’s “grassy dos!”
And just as grass is green, so is this spring activity, as it makes use of recycled yogurt containers and pantyhose. This recycled craft will show your little ones how to use old materials in order to create something new!
Kids will have a great time trimming and styling their friend’s green hair. Let it grow long, tie it in a bow, or even make a hat for them to wear! Encourage your kids to use their imaginations. Turn this into a family project by having everyone make their own friend, and sitting them together on a windowsill.
