The Ultimate Brownie Dessert

With 4th of July around the corner who doesn’t need a quick and easy dessert to make. I call this the Ultimate Brownie Dessert. It is over the top easy to make and will impress your friends and family. I have made this several times for my son’s baseball teams as we have a quick barbecue in between tournament baseball games and everyone loves it. You will need 16.5 oz refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough (you can quickly mix up a pouch of chocolate chip cookie dough but I found this was much easier to spread in the pan), double stuffed oreos and a box of chewy brownie mix for a 13×9 pan. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. You can use a regular 13×9 glass pan or a disposable pan. Line the pan with wax paper or parchment paper and spray it with cookie spray to prevent the dessert from sticking. Take the refrigerated cookie dough and and slice it about a 1/4″ to 1/2″ thick. Line the bottom of the pan with the sliced cookie dough. Once it is all sliced use your fingers to press it all together to cover the bottom of the pan. Then you take the double stuffed oreos and place a layer on top of the cookie dough. The first time I made it I spaced them out. Since then I put them as close as I could together. Last you mix up the brownie according to the box directions and spread over the oreos. Cover your dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Take off the cover and bake for additional 55-60 minutes. Let it cool and enjoy!
