One of our favorite activities on hot days like today is water balloon baseball. Since I have 4 kids everyone gets one swing – either you hit it or you don’t. The only way you get another swing is if the balloon doesn’t break. It can be time consuming to fill a bucket of water balloons but my kids enjoy getting their heads wet when I turn the hose on and off in between filling up the balloons. I also test the younger children’s knowledge of colors when filling up the balloons. The older ones like to request a certain color but sometimes they just have to wait until we get to that balloon in the bucket! Its can be a little challenging cleaning up all the balloon pieces but its definitely fun!
