If you are looking for a cool and refreshing treat for your kids make some pudding pops! All you need is a package of instant pudding mix, some popsicle stick and some dixie cups. Just follow the instructions on the box on how to make the pudding, pour them in the cups. insert the sticks and throw them in the freezer. In a few hours you have a delicious treat. I opted to not to buy vanilla or chocolate when I saw a cookies and cream pudding mix. It was fantastic!

Summer is winding down and everyone is sure to hit the beach one more time. Here is an idea for something fun and crafty to do that my niece came up with. When we went to the beach she collected a bunch of rocks. Her mom had brought some acrylic paint and paint brushes. We used the water from the lake and extra cups from the lunch we packed to hold water to clean off the brushes. The kids had a great time painting all of their creative designs on the rocks. Be sure to pack an old beach towel to paint on as it is much easier for the budding artist to express their creativity. The next time we went to another park by a river, she was collecting rocks again to paint when she got home!
